Ouafae Touissi
I hold a bachelor’s degree in private law and a master’s degree in family law from Mohamed V University in Rabat. I have also obtained a certificate of aptitude to practice as a lawyer and am currently a member of the Rabat Bar Association. At the same time, I am pursuing a doctorate in international private law at Abdelmalek Essaâdi University, where my research focuses on international legal issues, particularly in the field of family law and international marriages. I have devoted part of my research to the impact of the Moroccan Family Code on mixed marriages and the evolution of Moroccan legislation after the 2004 reforms. My work explores how legal systems influence and regulate relationships between individuals from diverse cultural and legal backgrounds. I am also interested in gender equality, comparative law and the legal challenges posed by international unions.
