Dr. Maya A. Yampolsky is an Assistant Professor and director of the Multicultural Experiences, Relationships, Racism and Identities (MERRI) Research Lab at Université Laval. Her mixed-methods research examines how multicultural identification and intercultural relationships are connected to broader context factors such as acculturation, enculturation and racism. Currently, she is examining the experience of racism from one’s romantic partner and close others in the context of intercultural relationships; this program is funded by both SSHRC and FRQSC.
