Having recently graduated in international studies from the Université Al Akhawayn in Ifrane, I joined the project as a research assistant in March 2019. I am currently studying for a master’s in international relations (culture and politics) at Leiden University. My research is trans-disciplinary and focuses mainly on gender studies, international relations and cultural studies. I am particularly interested in issues at the intersection of politics, popular culture and identity. The research project on the identity of descendants of mixed couples therefore allows me to explore these issues as well as my general interest in anthropology and research.
