Abdellah Ounnir
Professor of Higher Education, co-founder of the Faculté des sciences juridiques économiques et sociales de Tanger, coordinator of the private law section of the Faculté de droit (from September 2003 to 2008), I created in 2008 the specialized master’s degree: « Genre et droits des femmes des deux rives de la Méditerranée » as part of the Tempus program of which I have been the coordinator since 2008. Doctor of private law, I have taught private international law (PID) since 1992 and one of its major components: nationality law.
The issue of mixed couples is therefore part of my permanent reflection in IPD, particularly in matters of conflict between laws. I have chaired and moderated scientific work related to the subject. I have also supervised final bachelors and master’s degree projects as well as several theses related to the subject.
I have published several articles and studies on the subject including, « La reconnaissance et l’exécution des jugements en matière de statut personnel: le cas du Maroc et de la France » (published work);
« La reconnaissance et l’exécution des jugements étrangers au Maroc »
(in Estudios e informes sobre la inmigracion extranjera en la provincia de Jaen) and “Conflits de lois en matière de statut personnel ou le rôle du système juridique laïc dans la réforme du code de la famille au Maroc” (in Politique et poétique du genre dans les migrations).
Major project in preparation: « Critical approach to Moroccan family law ».
