I’m a student at the Heritage Studies TEMA – Master/UNIC program. I joined the project ‘the process of identity construction of the children of mixed couples who have been socialized in Quebec.’ as coordinator for the Quebec component. Being myself born to a Quebec father and a Mexican mother, I feel particularly challenged by the identity choices people of mixed background experience. It is definitely a fascinating reality that is building Quebec today. The issue of identity is at the heart of my interests and that is why I am delighted to be able to contribute to this project.
